Requirements, View, Macros, Tips
The model
is
delivered over
the internet at the time of purchase.
The
land development
model requires Microsoft Excel to run.
The model
is
available in English
only.
For
enhanced
navigation, we recommend you make the
sheet tabs visible.
If they are not already, go to 'Tools' > 'Options' >
View' >
check mark 'Sheet Tabs'.
Unless
you are looking at a somewhat old monitor, the
model should fit
the screen easily.
If it does not, try adjusting the screen percentage value at the top of
the excel worksheet. If that does not get the view you are
looking
for, contact us and we will try to help you out.
If you
wish to run the macros, go to the
'Tools' menu
> 'Macro'
submenu > Security tab and set the security level to medium.
When you open the LDM you will be notified that the file contains
macros and asked to enable or disable the same. Click on 'Enable
Macros' (Excel 2000 & 2003) . This is the default setting in Excel 2007.
The pages
of the model are password protected
at the time of
delivery to insure that inadvertent changes are not made to
the model. The only password you need to know is for the
owner tax page so you can update the tax tables from time
to time.
That password is "password" (case sensitive). When changes are
necessary, go to 'Tools' > 'Protection' >
'Unprotect Sheet' > type "password" , and make changes to the
table. When you are done, go to 'Tools' > 'Protection' >
'Protect Sheet' > type "password", or change the password if you
like, but write it down.
